Dear patients, clients & members of the #discoverylaser Family
Just like you, we have been monitoring the evolution and impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19). It is our utmost priority to ensure our patients and employees are feeling safe when coming to discoverylaser or Dr. Jacobs Practical Dermatology.
We would like to share with you the safety measures that have been adopted.
In-Clinic Sanitary Precautions
Hygiene and clinical protocols are at the centre of our daily operations. Under the current circumstances, we have elevated our standards further to offer additional safety.
As is customary, our team members continue to wash their hands multiple times during the day, and more importantly, in between every patient and before each treatment, as well all practitioners are wearing medical grade exam cloves and surgical masks performing treatments. Treatment beds, surfaces and door knobs are sanitized after every patient visit. Our daily cleaning services have been upgraded with extra sanitization of high-traffic common areas (door knobs, waiting room, desks, etc).
Increased the frequency of sanitation processes for all medical equipment and tools
Introduced sanitization protocols to all clinic touch points including, but not limited to, door handles, desks, display units, and payment terminals
Enhanced cleaning and sanitization process for all display frames, mirrors, and sample products
Insert sanitizer dispensers in clinic
Shared magazines, brochures and books and beverage station has been removed from our waiting room until further notice.
Every patient is asked to use hand sanitizer upon their arrival at the clinic
